Friends In NYC And A Big Ol’ Snowstorm

The picture above is of me and two lovely ladies (girlfriend at the front) hanging out in NYC. The GF and I took a trip into the city to get some dinner at a delicious soul food joint with one of our good friends. It was a lot of fun, but it was also severely cold. Walking around in the cold of New York is not fun at all. When I was a kid, and it was a big deal to go into the city, cold weather was no problem at all. But now that I’m all grown-up and go to NYC a few times a month, I can do without the cold there.

Speaking of cold, there was also a significant snowstorm here that you may have heard about on the news, oh, I don’t know, every second of the day. It wasn’t even that big of a storm, but people just love getting into a tizzy over the weather. Here, I took a pic of some of the snow for you:

See? No big deal.

I also did some baking for my GF’s meeting. She is sometimes in charge of bringing breakfast food to meetings she attends, so I helped her by making two dozen blueberry muffins…from scratch! Here they are in their delicious glory:

Mmmm…delicious, delicious muffins.

In the non-personal news, I’ve been continuing my efforts to be the most prolific news writer at Android Authority. I just checked, and I’ve written over 160 articles for the site in the short time I’ve been there. For reference, that’s about 32 articles a week. Whew! My fingers hurt. But it’s been great; the team has been incredibly helpful and supportive. They’ve even let me run wild and write crazy articles like this one. I swear when I submitted that I thought I was going to get fired, but they published it with only a few minor edits. It’s a pretty cool place to work, believe me.
