Skipped On Shuffle Is The Name Of My New Podcast!

Over the past few months, I’ve been teasing some big news. Well, it’s finally time to reveal the news in full: I am co-hosting a new podcast called Skipped on Shuffle!

The premise of the podcast is simple: my friend Jason and I are music geeks, and we’ll be discussing overlooked songs by popular artists during each 45-minute episode. Our first episode hits the internet a week from today, Friday, April 27. You’ll be able to find Skipped on Shuffle at most places where you download podcasts, including iTunes and the Google Play Store.

There’s a press release available on the Skipped on Shuffle website that goes into deep detail about how the podcast came to be and what fun things we have planned. But the gist is that I really like helping people discover new music, and there’s so much that gets passed over in our new age of music streaming. Skipped on Shuffle will center only on songs by incredibly popular artists to make it easier for people who might want to find something new but not stray too far from their comfort zone.

These are the episodes we’ve recorded already:

  • “Werewolf” by Fiona Apple
  • “The Punk and the Godfather” by The Who
  • “The Love Thieves” by Depeche Mode
  • “We Never Change” by Coldplay
  • “For Your Life” by Led Zeppelin
  • “Light Years” by Pearl Jam

It was a ton of fun creating the podcast, so hopefully it’s also fun for the listener. If you’re a podcast fan, I’d love to get your feedback when the first episode goes live next week. We’re a little nervous 🙂

You can find out more about Skipped on Shuffle at our website here, or follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
